Tenses:Present,Past and Future

Present Tense

Many people are confused about the present tense. Simply put, the present tense can be used to talk about things which happen at the present time, that is, right now. However, it can also be used to talk about things which happen usually or which happen every day .
Example :
I go to school.
Mary lives in London.
Robert plays football.

Past Tense

The past tense is used to talk about something that happened at a time before now, the present tense is used to talk about something that is happening now and the future tense is used to talk about something that will happen in a time later than now.

Example
Mohit studied English.

Future Tense
The future tense, like the present and the past tenses, has four sub-tenses. These are the simple future tense, future continuous tense, future perfect tense and the future perfect continuous tense.

Example
Maria will eat lunch.
