Types of Adjectives

There are various kinds of adjectives which are explained below:-
1- Adjective that tells about the quality of noun. Examples are:-
a- The car is big.
b- The house is small.
c- The table is square.
d- The horse is white.
2- Adjective that tells us about the quantity of the noun. Examples are:-
a- Raju has four pencils.
b- Mohan has two cars.
3- Interrogative adjectives
Examples of interrogative adjectives are:-
a- Whose pen is this?
b- In which standard do you study?
4- Adjectives that end in ‘ing ‘.
Examples are – amazing, encouraging, enchanting, entertaining, exciting, satisfying, relaxing, surprising etc.
5- Adjectives that end in ‘ed’.
Examples are- amazed, charmed, convinced, encouraged, moved, pleased, fulfilled etc.
